I Exercised Today 7 years, 6 months agoConfession: it\’s been a struggle getting my exercise routine to be consistent. Today was my first day back; I did body weight strength training for a little over 45 minutes and burned over 200 calories. It felt good!

I Exercised Today 7 years, 7 months agoHi all!! So today was the Dri Tri day at OTF for me it was not what I was expecting. I was dreading the 200 m row but I knocked that out in 8 mins (30 seconds better than my last time) the weight floor consisted of 20 push-ups, 40 step ups, 30 burpeees, 20 sit down to bench “basically squat until your toosh touches the bench”, 30 jump over ben…[Read more]

I Exercised Today 7 years, 7 months agoToday was good (only 2 of us were there a runner n me lol) but it was strength day, treadmill – mostly uphill, then work your way back down while increasing the speed. The weight floor was terrible lots of lungs n squats with weights, after doing each exercise 3x then off to the rower to row 250 meters in the shortest time you can

🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 That’s the kind of classes that I like. The ones with great music, a great instructor, and a even greater workout!! I haven’t been able to workout consistently this week. This post is the inspiration that I needed to get back in the mix.

I Exercised Today 7 years, 8 months agoDidn’t exercise on Friday, but I got a 4.5k jog in on Saturday which was VERY challenging (it was supposed to be a 5k 😔😂) and I played some basketball today mixed in with some light strength training. Thanks Donna!! 🤗 @kisha22 has a half court at her house so I decided to take advantage of the opportunity and tried to make some shots. Today, I felt sore in areas that didn’t even realize that I was exercising!

I Exercised Today 7 years, 8 months agoI was in no mood to exercise. After 9 days of no exercising, my body and mind were not about it at all, but I decided to get dressed and do some light activity. See it’s hard to start back after missing days of working out. I’ve been decommissioned since last week Saturday workout. Almost didn’t go today because of my low back pain. I have Drs on Wednesday so I was thinking about waiting till I saw the dr before going back to working out, then my conscience convinced me to go and no excuses.
