I Exercised Today 7 years, 8 months agoDidn’t exercise on Friday, but I got a 4.5k jog in on Saturday which was VERY challenging (it was supposed to be a 5k 😔😂) and I played some basketball today mixed in with some light strength training. I Exercised Today 7 years, 8 months agoI was in no mood to exercise. After 9 days of no exercising, my body and mind were not about it at all, but I decided to get dressed and do some light activity. See it’s hard to start back after missing days of working out. I’ve been decommissioned since last week Saturday workout. Almost didn’t go today because of my low back pain. I have Drs on Wednesday so I was thinking about waiting till I saw the dr before going back to working out, then my conscience convinced me to go and no excuses.

Dunn’s Run is a 5k walk/run with a 5-mile run option that takes place at 7 am on the first Sunday of October at Deerfield Beach. The run benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Broward County. Health Events 7 years, 8 months agoI did this event in Miramar back in 2016 and it was very good! Consider showing up early for the warm up. The 3k run/jog is a light pace non-competitive jog and walking is permitted. The course is on the blocked off street and through a small community park. I Exercised Today 7 years, 8 months agoHappy September 1st! I’m feeling much better after 3 days of being sick. Back to OTF first thing this morning and the 1st day of the month. Last month I got 11 workouts in. My goal is to get in at least 5 days a week.

Woke up this morning shivering due slowly breaking my fever. Still not feeling too good, won’t be able to go to the gym today but I’m gonna get on my treadmill and work on my running later. I think my fever has broke, just relaxing atm hope you guys get in your burn for today! Great way to end the week 💪🏻

I wouldn’t say I’m a pro lol.. I think I realize that I wasn’t alone in feeling intimidated before each class. Caring about what others see me as (not fit, over weight) was preventing me from going. I realized I was my worst enemy. So I just go and try my best 😅

Thanks Donna!! 🤗 @kisha22 has a half court at her house so I decided to take advantage of the opportunity and tried to make some shots. Today, I felt sore in areas that didn’t even realize that I was exercising!
