And it was pretty cool because the coaches asked me last week to be a coach so I volunteered today and really connected with alot of the kids! It was fun!! And I will could it as a second workout! Dunn’s Run is a 5k walk/run with a 5-mile run option that takes place at 7 am on the first Sunday of October at Deerfield Beach. The run benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Broward County. Health Events 7 years, 8 months agoI did this event in Miramar back in 2016 and it was very good! Consider showing up early for the warm up. The 3k run/jog is a light pace non-competitive jog and walking is permitted. The course is on the blocked off street and through a small community park. The atmosphere was family friendly and there were all kinds of activities and vendors…[Read more]

Lmao…this was a fun event! Remember, the couple in front of us in the bathroom line. The guy that opened the door on the lady in the porta potty after his wife sent him to go check if it was open! The lady’s unexpected scream and his reaction was a priceless moment. I think they changed the venue for this year, but doing that run in the darkness…[Read more]

Festival of lights run was a lot of run and definitely something that should be done yearly! My only “beef” with it, is I wish there were light along the whole run, like christmas lights! But other than that, very fun and I loved wearing “ugly sweaters”…[Read more]

I Exercised Today 7 years, 8 months agoHappy September 1st! I’m feeling much better after 3 days of being sick. Back to OTF first thing this morning and the 1st day of the month. Last month I got 11 workouts in. My goal is to get in at least 5 days a week.

Thats good! Thats literally what I did when I started back working out after 2 weeks off!! SLOW AND STEADY!
Girl! So very true…it’s definitely a challenge getting back into the routine! 😫
See it’s hard to start back after missing days of working out. I’ve been decommissioned since last week Saturday workout. Almost didn’t go today because of my low back pain. I have Drs on Wednesday so I was thinking about waiting till I saw the dr before going back to working out, then my conscience convinced me to go and no excuses.
