This chicken recipe is quick and tasty.

Ingredients
– used 4 bone in skin on thighs
– only used about 3 TB butter
– added garlic pepper (instead of black pepper)
– added Jamaican all purpose seasoning
– used 2 pegs garlic, crushed
– used 2 TB vegetable broth (did not have chicken broth)
– did not use parsley
– did not use lemon wedges
Method
– cooked on stovetop all the way through
– seasoned chicken and set aside for 45-60 mins
– prepared broccoli by parboiling it so that it was crunchy/crisp (see video)
– did not drain butter from seared chicken; just added about 2 TB more butter and then garlic (see video)
– mixed honey with broth (see video)
– sprinkled seasonings in sauce and stirred well before adding chicken
– removed chicken from pan once fully cooked, then drained excess butter (leaving about 1 TB in pan), then mixed parboiled broccoli in pan over low-medium heat. Removed from heat once broccoli was sufficiently coated.
Tips:
– lightly coat measuring cup with oil before measuring the honey so that the honey will flow freely
– when removing the excess butter, try not to remove any of the sauce as you will need the sauce to coat the broccoli
Note: Variation to try – add choice of spice/pepper to sauce before adding chicken to create a spicy sweet flavor
